I was a middle school teacher for nine years before I decided to follow my true passion of health and fitness and make a career out of it. I took some time off of work to decide which direction I wanted to go in and eventually obtained a Master of Science in Exercise Science and Health Promotion, became an ACE certified personal trainer, and became a NCHEC health education specialist. This year I have also obtained my prenatal and postnatal fitness certification from NASM. I am passionate about educating people on how they can lead their best lives by taking a little time for themselves every day. As a mom of two young children I understand how hard that can be!
I want to empower women of all stages to have an incredible quality of life through health and fitness. I promote support for one another and uplift each other through the means of exercise, wellness, and healthy living. It’s more than just getting in a good workout (though this is important, and fun!), but being able to look at your lifestyle and health behaviors and make changes where appropriate. I want to help you overcome hurdles and reach your goals.
With years of experience and education I am capable of analyzing your body and lifestyle to create a fitness plan that will help you reach your goals. These plans can include functional fitness, interval training, strength training, flexibility, and more. I will work with you to keep you on track and motivated to reach your goals. Whether you want to run your best 5k, do a pull up, build muscle mass, fix your abdominal separation from pregnancy, complete a triathlon, or anything else you have your mind set on, I can help you get there!

Individualized personal training sessions based on your goals. Incorporates functional fitness, interval training, strength training, and flexibility. We can also make plans and help train for triathlons, running races, and obstacle course races.
